Pi Sigma Epsilon - Gamma Nu
On a national level, Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) is a professional business fraternity for students with a focus on marketing and sales management.
My journey with PSE started in the fall of 2019 as a freshman at Ohio State. I was able to join the organization with 27 of my peers after going through a rigorous recruitment process that consisted of over 300 students. I have consistently been one of the most involved members of the chapter and served on the 2022 Executive Board as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales.
In my role, I was in charge of creating and managing semi-annual marketing projects where our members worked with local Columbus companies for a six to eight week period. These projects ranged from social media management, event planning, fundraising efforts, and more. As Vice President, I implemented the First Annual Fisher Marketing Case Competition on OSU’s campus, run by Pi Sigma Epsilon and sponsored by Cleveland-based merchandise company, University Tees. I also created and implemented our chapter’s largest fundraising effort, Fore The Kids (FTK). FTK is a golf outing that raised money for our chapter’s main philanthropy, Buckeyethon. This role gave me unique insight into corporate outreach and management as well as fostered my ability to effectively manage several teams of people at once. I have also gained valuable experience in public speaking and teamwork, as I communicated and worked closely with other members of the executive board to effectively run our chapter and reach our goals.
